I lost my voice. Then I found something deeper.
I spent a lifetime training my voice — earning a Master of Music from the Peabody Conservatory at Johns Hopkins, performing at the Kennedy Center, singing before 70,000 people at an international conference, and composing over 300 original works.
Then COVID took it all away. The voice that defined my career, my ministry, my identity — gone. For a man who'd built his entire life around helping others through music, that silence was the hardest season I've ever walked through.
But I fought my way back. On July 12, 2026, I returned to the stage with "My Story of Hope" — 19 original songs, 6 life stories, Grammy-nominated and Stellar Award-winning artists, and a full choir. It was the most meaningful performance of my career. And in that journey, I discovered something I now share with every student who walks through my door: your voice is more than technique. It's your confidence. Your calling. Your story.
